Better Dead Than Red!

The new documentary about the tie-dyed 1992 Olympics Lithuanian men's basketball team, The Other Dream Team, is reportedly quite a crowd-pleaser at Sundance.

Really one of the all-time proudest moments for our community... I will never forget those games and that team...still have the shirt which is now retired but got a new replica for this Christmas.

Long live the Grateful Dead

Couldn't get through the article because, well, it's about ... sports. (I don't get it. Guys chase other guys, and we're supposed to care who "wins?" Meh. When do the gymnasts or ice dancers come on?) But I'd see the movie. It really is such an inspirational story, and this sure is a neat pic:

Ha ha, no real sport includes points for 'artistic merit'.

Is that Toni Kukoc second from left?

Edit: Oh my bad, he's Croatian.

The expression on the face of the first guy on the left is eerily similar to that of my wife as I play my latest favorite version of Fire.

(Please, folks, no comments on "Gee, your wife has a crew cut and mustache?", it's beneath you...just like that unfortunate sheep)
